The war had went on for about 12 days and Raavan slowly had lost all of his brothers and fierce warriors. Time had come for him to face his destiny and fight a war with pre-destined outcome. He was just unable to sleep, was it the impending ‘moksha’ that Rama’s arrow would give him or was it the thoughts of the events that had led to this situation. But Raavan was far too intelligent and wise for all of this , he was already seeing the big picture that nobody on the battlefield could see. Just for the sake of protection of his own daughter Seeta, he had to die.
