Imagine a little SD Burman styled retro vibe, with a little tint of weed induced jazz and folk magic in the stylistic aspects of Pratik Kuhad, you get Suzonn. A jazz cum folk as well as rnb musician who has been creating magic with his voice and music.
Not just that, his music will also give you a vibe of reggae and oldies from 70’s and 80’s like Md. Rafi as well as Amy Winehouse and John Mayer.
Suzonn as a musician have been
prominent in our local music circuit since the release of his single, GANJA ROCKS, a jazz and rnb tribute to the love of weed. Suzonn have also, done a handful of collaboration with other underdogs like Khanindra Das.
Lyrics wise, Suzonn likes to keep it simple and relatable for most youths and teenagers who goes through this phase like getting wasted in a PG with classmates, bunking class, falling in love and breakups and stuff like that. The trippy tone of the songs would take you to a wild journey to you fantasy lands. So just drop in to these weed induced tracks, and get high on his tunes.
More recently however, Suzonn have released songs that are more about love and emotions that was seen over his Assamese romantic song, Nirobey and other songs like “O mere humdum”, “Rihaee”, “Sun lo na”, and ‘’Tu jo paas”.
