Summers has a different fan base because of mangoes. Specially in India, the king of fruits Mango is loved by everyone. So here is this recipe of Mango Shrikhand for my readers which is made with yogurt and mangoes. Mango Shrikhand is a refreshing yogurt based sweet dish. Shrikhand with mango makes it a very delicious dessert.Ā šŸ„­šŸ¤©

INGREDIENTS

āœ Thick and fresh yogurt - 2 cups

āœ Mango pulp - 1 cup

āœ Ā Powdered sugar - 4 tablespoon

āœ Saffron milk - 4 tablespoon

āœ Condensed Milk - half cup

āœ Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

āœ Chopped Almonds - 1 tablespoon

āœ Chopped pistachios - 1 tablespoon

āœ Mango cubes chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1- Take two cups of yogurt and put it in a handkerchief/ muslin cloth and tie the cloth together tightly. Hang it or put weight over it so as to drain the excess water from the yogurt. Keep it into the refrigerator overnight to rest.

[Note - You can use readily available hung curd if you want to skip the process of preparing it. ]

Step 2- Firstly take the thick and creamy hung curd in a bowl and whisk it until it turns smooth and creamy.

Step 3- Then add the mango pulp, powdered sugar , condensed milk and the cardamom powder into it and mix with the creamy mixture until its done.

Step 4- Then pour the saffron milk into it. Add in chopped almonds and pistachios and mix gently.

Step 5- You can serve it immediately but for amazing taste store it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Step 6- Garnish with mango cubes and kesar strands.

Step 7- Serve chilled and enjoy! :)
