Today’s featured artist is Paritush Dutta from Assam
Often a time as an Assamese we fail to appreciate our own talents so much that we miss out on some of the best music that comes from this land. In the time when the market is stormed by music videos with senseless music, there are some unsung heroes which we do not pay heed to.
Paritush Dutta, a singer from Nazira, Assam is one such artist who has given a modern rocking spin to mainstream Assamese music with his debut single “Paharore Aloxua” which was lyrically penned by Pritirekha Boruah, is a homage to the rainy season, a sweet tribute to the oncoming season of rainy days, birds singing and the festival of Rongali Bihu.
Paritush had the privilege to be featured with Red FM, Guwahati and have been sharing
stages with some renowned artists from Assam including a platform on national TV.
Talking about the song, the composition structure of the song has a mainstream Assamese tone with heavily layered guitar leads seen over pop rock as well as alternative rock and some touch of EDM, but blended with subtle melancholic tone to celebrate the beauty of rain and thunder.
In recent events it was revealed that Paritush is currently working on his next single, and so, we at Inked Street would love to convey our grand wishes for his success with his next endeavors.
