“CLICK se Naa Ho Payega”

The door opens, the cold wind blows the warm atmospheric bar. Then, a boy steps in, a kid to be precised. The staffs being too preoccupied, no one questions his presence. He sit on the leather bar stool, eventually calls out to one bartender and orders a Scotch. In an instant, he has it infront and timidly drinks it, nearly gagging at the burning sensation in his throat. He ordered again, repeating his in loop. The bartender smiled, and thought to his own self, "Here comes another, heartbroken lover." The kid readily replied, "nah, I'm drinking my sorrows of being unemployed! " "At this age? ", questioned the one across the counter, "What were you involved in? Business? Start up? "

" I was my own boss. Entrepreneur. I used to make matches for people.", answered the kid.

Little taken aback, the bartender realised the thought of his, regarding the kid being heartbroken was in his mind, how come he knew that? Confused in his brains, the bartender asked, "Are you into mind reading?"

"Repeat. Please". "Take a look around, the place is full of shallow, pretentious people. The ego, the superiority complex is just taking a toll on every aspects of a relationship. In this race of proving their point to be right and more logical, they are giving up on people so easily. Where are the days of romance, the selfless and the lobster love? When the worth of the love was far more extortionate than their combined prides. The unquenchable thirst of being involved in the life of someone else is no less than a bliss.”, murmured to his own self.

Gulping up another scotch peg, the kid, said out and loud, "Who thought in their weirdest of all dreams that technology can shove a cactus in a god's ass, hah? I'm the Cupid." "See, here I'm, sitting in a crappy little bar, drunk, depressed and UNEMPLOYED, grumbling on the bartender. What these job snatchers of mine came up with, "It’s Not ‘GreatCupid’ or even ‘GoodCupid’. It’s OkCupid."

"Gone are those days, deciding who would meet whom, was my favourite passtime. With the arrows of love and passion, triggering emotions was a cakewalk for me. And now, totally blew off this immortal stud to play kiss-the-boo-boo with a fickle little rent-a-cop. Why? If you are into dating perfect strangers, PPEERFECT strangers, then why trust the swiping left and right more than my abilities. You all bestowed more trust in the "apps" than me, ME- THE CUPID. The one liners on your Bio speaks volume but the compatibility hits zero. Hook ups are in the trend now, I became conventional, like that old radio. And replaced by online music apps. The mouse clicks now equate my love arrows. This technological interference in no time made me a laughing stock."

Another peg goes down, the monologue continues, "You know, what puts me on ease these days, the few, who are still in love. Inspite of their daily clashes, in the era of fish love, they are still holding onto each other like lobsters. They try each day to make it a better place for each other. The ones, who still treasure the essence of the old, antique radios. And they silently slip into their own sheet of intimacy."

The kid passed out, still murmuring on its own, the bartender pulled out his cell phone and re-dialed the last dialed number, Psyche. "Hello, I am the bartender who was serving your friend, he passed out on the counter, can you come and fetch him?" talked at the most pleading tone as he could." Asking of the address, replied the girl, from the other side, she agreed to be there within a few minutes. The bartender did not invest much in the jibber jabber of the drunken kid, and let them rest on the counter for now. Psyche, arrived soon, paid his bills and helped her friend to be on his feet. Just when they reached the door, the bartender for a blink, felt like he noticed the white wings on his back. On a second look, they were nowhere around.

Snow covers the caps on height, As if a painter's canvas all white. Waves of red fired all around, Cacophony of gunshots lingered loud....
