BOLLYWOOD WILL NOT GET ANY OTHER ACTOR LIKE IRRFAN KHAN, AND HERE’S WHY?

Irrfan Khan, was one such legendary actor in Bollywood who put himself into a challenge while pulling off a character. His method acting was so perfect and timed that he was included in the list of Bollywood’s big shots but underrated actors in the likes of other actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Manoj Bajpye, KK Menon, Atul Kulkarni and the likes. And today, Mr. Khan’s death came as a shock to us.

In 1988, Mr. Khan started his career with Salam Bombay and then went on to act in numerous

Bollywood and Hollywood films such as the critically acclaimed The Namesake, Slumdog Millionaire and Life of Pie and mainstream Hollywood flicks like The Amazing Spider-man.

And also, he pulled of some hardcore characters in Bollywood movies like Aan, Life in a Metro, Gunday, Paan Sing Tomar and the likes.

Mr. Khan was one of those actors who carried a charm in his roles and put life into it. In 2018, Khan appeared in Karwan, with Dulquer Salmaan, Mithila Palkar and Kriti Kharbanda. The film released on 1 June 2018. He also appeared in Blackmail opposite Kirti Kulhari in the same year.

In 2020, he appeared in Angrezi Medium, directed by Homi Adajania who directed Cocktail and Finding Fanny alongwith Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal. The film was released on 13 March 2020. Incidentally it was his last released film before his death on 29 April.

But In February 2018, Khan was diagnosed with "undisclosed disease", and it was speculated by many media outlets that he has "brain cancer". After much speculation, the actor took to his Twitter account and announced that he would "share his story" in "a week - ten days" and asked the media and fans not to "speculate" anything. On 16 March 2018, Khan announced through a Twitter post that he was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour. He traveled to London for treatment.

In March 2018, Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer that can target various parts of the body. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on 28 April 2020, where he was being treated for colon infection. He died the following day, at age 53, from the infection.

We indeed lost a gem in the industry today, a legend who’s acting was out of the box and extraordinary. Rest in Peace Mr. Irrfan Khan.
