Oats is the best thing to start your day with. It not only improves immunity but also is rich in nutrients and fiber.


Preparation time- 10 minutes Cooking time- 10 minutes. Serves- 2


Ingredients Chopped onions - Half cup Grated carrots - Half cup Chopped Capsicum - Half cup 1-2 chopped green chilies. 1 inch chopped ginger. Rolled oats - 1 cup Besan - 2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 2 tspn Red chili powder - 2 tspn Salt - Swaad anusaar



RECIPE Step 1- Take a pan and dry roast the rolled oats in medium flame for 2-3 minutes and keep aside. Step 2- Transfer the oats and grind it in a mixer and make a powder form of it. Step 3- Take a bowl and transfer the oats into it. Add besan, all chopped veggies, salt, turmeric and red chili powder into it. Step 5- Add water accordingly into the bowl and make a consistent batter. Step 6- Take a flat pan or tawa and brush it with a little oil. Step 7- Put a required amount of batter into the hot tawa and gently spread the batter so that it doesn't break. Step 8- Cook the oats cheela on a medium flame till the top begins to look cooked.  Step 9- Flip the cheela once it gets cooked. Now cook the other side of the cheela till golden brown. Step 10- Serve the cheela hot with ketchup or green chutney.
