The Political Ignorance

Let's talk politics and if you don't want to then this article is definitely for you. How many times on the internet, in a group of friends or on the Television have you heard or seen something political? It can be anything a political ad or criticism or a troll anything. After seeing that what is your reaction? If you are among those people who turn a blind eye to these things then this article is for you. India’s is the world’s largest democracy, so it becomes obvious that politics is something that prevails in every nook and corner of this country and it should as it is something which dictates almost every aspect of our present and the future. Since the first Prime Minister was elected to the “Achhe Din ” chants we have seen a wide spectrum of political emotions. The legends and criticism of the previous governments or your political point of view can be governed by a number of factors but this article is not about what is better the Left or the Right. Nor it has anything to do with the upcoming General Elections. And Neither it is a self-proclaimed declaration of who is a better Prime Minister. This article is for those people who get bored reading much about politics. Yes, the Cool young generation of our country who thinks politics is an old man’s game and for nerds. Who feel that talking or even discussing politics will not suit their cool carefree attitude. Allow me and I might change your mind about this or maybe just try to do so. So Lately a lot has been going on the internet and the various media platforms about the government and its progressive ideologies. But if taken a deeper look not much has happened and we may be on our way downhill. I am not saying this because I am anti-Modi or against the current ruling party the only thing that makes me this is the sheer amount of communism, hatred and fear that has grown radically in our country over the few years. That is also not such a big threat as is the problem of our generation not giving a single F*** about the whole of this scenario. ALL they care about is their PubG and the social media fame they are getting, the likes and the views. No this would not have been a threat if things would have been normal but this a much serious threat now. I may be wrong here but how many times did you hear something about the current regime in our country. How many times did you hear criticism of the current Prime Minister? If the answer is rarely or very few, that my friend is the real problem. If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn’t thinking. Okay, accepted maybe this government is too good to be true but how is it possible that it has managed to make every single one of us happy. How come there are very few criticisms heard. I will jump directly to the point now. Not everything is right but the problem is the well-read and elite people of the society are either pro-government or have been silenced due to some fear. And those who dare speak have very few paying heeds to what they want to tell. The ignorance of our current generation towards the whole political scenario has worsened the situation. The Youth of our country which will get the maximum benefits out of a well-versed government does not want to talk about politics. They don’t want to talk about it and thus they don’t want to know about it and therefore they are not raising their voice against it. The only thing worth noting is today you may feel that these talks are not cool and don’t match your swag but the today’s government will decide the future of which you are apart. So wake up before it’s too late. OR maybe we would have to get ready for another round of the Struggle for Freedom. It's not about one person or one party and this article should not be taken in that context. It does not matter which party or whom you want as PM. What matter is whoever is the government, make sure they give Education, Employment, Support Economy, Talk about the Environment and most importantly listen to you. But Before that, you need to talk. This article is not to force you to choose aside. Be on whichever side you want to just be beliefs rational and logical about your political beliefs and most Importantly have One. **hope you like this article.
