It’s not about the destination, it is about the journey.
As you sow so shall you reap.
It is not done until the finish line.
You might be wondering why did I choose to start with these quotes, the only reason I wanted to start with these quotes is that all of these quotes are in the same context. In one way or the other, they all talk about two things, the journey and the destination or the struggle and ofthe result or the work done and its outcomes.
This is what I wanted to talk about today. The journey we take, it may be for anything but the only thing sure is that the journey will have some aim, goal, destination or result. No one has ever taken a train or bus just for the fun of it. Maybe if someone has there are very few people like that and if you are one of them Well done, but for the rest of us stay with me.
Our world has been developed in such a way that more emphasis has been always given to the end outcome or the result. The success or the failure of any task is directly related to the fact that whether the final result was achieved or not.
Let me start by the most basic and important concern of this article. The Exam Results.
It can be anything your first standard result, your Board result, your entrance exam results, your College results or your interview result. At that moment just before the result, in that very moment when your blood is filled with adrenaline and your heart is pumping. Your brain is filled with doubt and the fear of the impending doom. You can’t even make a guess as you don’t even remember what you have done. In that very moment, seconds before the result announcement, have you ever stopped and thought about the journey. All that you went through to get to this point. Did you put in your best efforts, and if you did why are you so tense. You have done all you could, sit back and wait for life to make its move.
I know this may seem to be all philosophical and impractical and I somewhat agree because like everyone I go through the same ordeal every time a result is to be announced. I know that the stress that creeps in has less to do with the result and more with the fact that what effect will it make on the future. The fear has more to do with, what if the result is not what we expect it to be. What if I fail in this exam, how will I face my parents. What if I could not clear this interview, I have no money. What if, What if, all of these what-ifs.
So one conclusion made is that the fear of the result is actually not its fear but actually the fear of ripples it will produce in our vast sea of hopes and dreams. I am not going to explain here how the future is uncertain and how you should never worry about it. Neither I am going to tell you that, good things come to you no matter what happens. If you deserve it you will get it. I will leave this up to you to figure out. Moving on.
If that doesn’t convince you enough, Let me quote this from The Gita, because when nothing works God does.
I am not much of a spiritual guy myself but still, you can find your inspiration from anywhere and anyone. Roughly translated this quote from The Gita means that you are just supposed to the Karma and not worry about the Results. Pretty much sums up what I wanna convey through this article.
See I know it’s all tough and the difficulties you are facing and the various problems can’t be solved by this small article. All this article means to say is that it is not the end of the world until it really is. I don’t even know if that made sense. All that meant was don’t give up on life until the sky is actually falling and the NASA has announced that an asteroid is headed towards us.
Nothing is more important than your will to Succeed and the desire to achieve that goal. No single moment or a result or an announcement can change that unless you allow it to.
So it does not matter if you have failed, you did not make it to the merit list, you missed the cutoff, you did not get the job or something else did not go as planned.
It’s not the end until you say it is. So hands up, make your fists and keep fighting. So what you got punched and you fell down. It’s just Round One. KEEP FIGHTING.
Lose the battle But win the WAR.
Hey all, I just wanted this small piece so that you keep on fighting in life and don’t let hurdles stop you. I hope I conveyed my message. If you liked it leave a Like. Follow me for more updates. I write articles in my own way.
Thanks for reading.
Actually the NASA announced some asteroids coming our way to Earth or maybe passing close to Earth. Let's hope for the best. Your posts are really good and on point. Keep up the good work bro. Bella Ciao😍😍
